Can we please make the Vanguards non dupes like the other elite pack purchases? It’s absolutely ridiculous that they are not.
at least the ones for 300 pinkies, the 120 and gold i can see being dupe prone and being able to craft them is kind of cheesy
Yeah or drop the pinkie cost to like 50 crystals. Makes the dupe much less of a blow.
Get rid of dupes for pinks completely, including in rares, but take the mythics and MP out of the rare pack to stop it cheesing.

I can’t see how it could possibly make economic sense, especially now that you can get non-random Vanguards without spending any pinks whatsoever, just by waiting for the Vanguard you want to show up in the rotation of a Fblthp event.
Yeah, but those are 400 cyrstals a pop, which you can actually pay cash for. So they probably get more money from you buying the Fblthp Vanguards than the 400 jewel ones anyway
but you dont get the “got to get them all” crowd buy buying the alternate art versions
It seems that you can only buy the vanguards you already own from Fblthp event. At least I can’t buy Sorin last week.
I had no problem buying Sorin, last week, nor any problem with Huatli, the week before, and I didn’t own either. In fact I thought it was a bug that I couldn’t finish Blackblade’s master deck because I had a Huatli, but turned out that’s “as designed”, so not sure why you couldn’t get Sorin, last week…
I also was able to buy sarkhan a few runs ago … It is pretty weird that you couldn’t buy Sorin.You should be able to buy it on the next run … It seems that each vanguard appears twice in a row in Fbltubgfi’s backpack.
are the vault deals linked to meeting the battle goals? seems to be, beat all three and unlock all of the options. philip(what i call him) the vanguard card and cant remember a 3rd deal
I believe they are as once you complete both secondary objectives, you get that pop-up that tells you what card is available in the Vault by Phlipper with a link to the vault. Just completing the three rounds gets you the progression rewards, only.
Yeah you have to play the event to purchase the planeswalkers, but they’re available to you regardless if you already own the original vanguard or not.
@FindingHeart8 - I do not have access to the mythic vanguard this time, because I own it already (I assume). That was at least the conclusion I reached with the help of Mburn7 a few weeks back.
Yes, it becomes available in the vault only if you completed both 2 and 3 objective. Winning 3x is not enough
@@Tremayne - I have been doing the “Planechasing” since the beginning and I’ve never once NOT been able to get the Mythical vanguard since it’s alternate art of the card. I think you just need to make sure that every time you play you get both secondary objectives completed so you have access to them.
Even having Sarkhan and Ugin, I could still buy those alternate art Vanguards from the Phblthp section of the purchase area in the vault.
So at this point, don’t worry, the understanding is they will come back around.
(Unless you mean you had the Alternate art card for that Mythic, already?..)
This week, no mythic on sale after winning 3 matches fulling the secondaries on all three winning matches.
@Azerack - if you own the mythic on sale, which options do you have?
I ask since it seems the same mythic vanguard is on sale on two consecutive Fillip events. BTW I’m not VIP in case that matters.
I have never been unable to purchase the cards from the Fblthp event, regardless of whether or not I already own the normal-art version.
Just have to complete the requirement of beating both secondary objectives to unlock the highest tier card each week.
@Enygma6 - normal art card does not equal alternate art card. So if you have the card on offer, alternate or normal, you can’t buy it, I claim.
somehow I fail to make it understandable that fillip does not enable me to buy the same card which I already own.
