(PASSIVE) Venom’s symbiote powers allow them to stalk their prey, but make Venom vulnerable to fire and sonics. Enemy Protect tiles’ strength are reduced by 25% and enemy Attack tiles’ strength are increased by 20%.
Dev note: This does not fire each round, it is a flat modifier on every enemy tile.

Kinda surprised to see so much protect tile stuff on Venom.

So what does trigger this sorry to say, but “craptastic” passive?

How do you fire the damage on his black passive ability?

Please remove the damage from the black passive that was mistakenly copied from green.

Typo on the black max level. I assume it is the same power regardless. I am guessing black is always active. Green stinks because of low damage for such a ridiculously high AP cost. Carnage’s green is better by far, even though it stinks too. Yellow is good, but with no yellow AP generating characters besides Miles, not likely to go off often like Hulkbuster’s red. Overall: meh. His high health might negate his crappy skills somewhat. He is a niche character that doesn’t really work well against any current characters in the 4 star range besides Failcap.

Buff for Carnage and IF. Way to build a character whose best build is 505 or 005.

There is no trigger, it’s always active for every tile that is on the board. And to answer the other part of the question, that’s not every turn, it’s a flat modifier on every Protect and Attack tile.

If Fist’s Attack tile manages to survive for 10 turns it will do 2k damage. I can’t wait to fight him. Bring along falcon for more fun.

He’ll be the reward for Venom Bomb, our next new episode popping up just before Christmas. Which is not a 7 day, btw.

If venom dies or tile is stolen or increased in strength, what tile strengths are expected?

Just did on the post with a dev note, I’ll see about modifying it in-game before launch as well. See? This is why we post these things ahead of time!

Since they’re no longer enemy tiles if stolen, they’ll be at normal strength. If Venom dies, the passive is no longer active, so normal strength.

Green costs 13 ap for 3k damage plus some from destroyed tiles (could be 0)? Well, terrible secondary effect sense of balance (cascade potential) just ruined another character.
