You don’t join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a “fresh” bracket at your own risk.

I don’t care about placement so I entered the game at 10:14 AM (EDT) today for S3 Vet.
There are currently 174 players - the highest scorer is Sparky24 at 6853. Next is 5013, followed by 4747 and down from there. #6-10 is 3981 - from this I conclude that Sparky ground the nodes and noone is more than a clear in.
Slice 3 vet now at 669, 5 hours left in 2nd sub. This is the same bracket as GrimSkald reported on earlier, I think I joined 5 minutes before his post. I’m not optimistic about this reaching 1000, it’s crawling along very slowly right now. I’ll try to update in a day or so.
