Well as I cannot play this one at all in the last 24 hours this is an easy event. Zero points incoming!
Terrible 3* roster, crappy rewards (a good cover for top 10, and nothing else worthwhile, including tokens) and it’s the worst heroic to boot. What the actual hell.
Ugh, that fucking lineup. Gsbw should never easily be the best character in a heroic.
Rubberbanding has been tweaked so frequently in PvE that it’s more valuable to assess recent events overall than past Heroic Venoms. Lately it seems Demiurge has toned down rubberbanding quite a bit, favoring the grinding style of doing PvE. They’ve also seemed to tone down personal scaling as well, removing one of the major cons of grinding before.
Good thing I don’t need lazy cap rewards, since the limited roster is a combination of mid to bottom tier characters.

Well, I need the Blue to finish up my Cap, so hopefully I can make top 150 without too much effort.
Edit: But considering the allowed characters don’t include Patch, Cstorm or OBW, this will be too much effort. And my alliance is not strong in PVEs.
If I had known the next PVE was going to be a heroic with one of the worst 3* lineups I have ever seen, I would have pushed more for my 5th GSBW green in the Deadpool event.
And what do we get for our anniversary:

I’m getting really tired with the way they feature 3* characters who seem to have no synergy whatsoever because everything is still scaled to your highest usable character whether they’re any good or not. Beast is basically useless. GSBW and Storm’s best attack is both green, so you pretty much have one color to attack out of your 3s. Sure the 2 tend to cover their colors well, but you can’t use them due to level shift in most cases if your featured 3* is 166. In this event I don’t have that problem but you shouldn’t be punished for having your characters at 166. You can’t put someone like Falcon as a featured character (who is likely to be fairly high level because he’s a PvE powerhouse) and give him no one that can put decent special tiles, but still use his level as a scaling factor, except they do that all the time.
You guys are getting way too entitled. Double iso on all events. Free anniversary 10 pack for a reasonable 1k score for each pvp. D3 could run krakadoom 3x in a row for all i care and this week will still have been great just from those two things alone.
Finally!!! I’ve needed a Blue L.Cap cover for ages! Last time he was given out, Blue was his top 5 reward, and it’s all I need. I hate Heroics though. At least my GSBW is maxed, she will have to carry my team.
Any idea how long the subs are?
No subs. Venom Heroic is all 14 fights of the prologue stage in one go, which is why we hate it so so much.
At least the team composition is better if you’re still in transition. Thor + Widow + Hawkeye doesn’t have rainbow coverage (and you’d better kill Daken quick because you’re matching a lot of green) but things will die once Thunder Strike and Deceptive Tactics come out.
Well I guess we are going from Fan Favorite PvE to Fans could care less PvE. Well, if nothing else, this event makes me want to give PvP a try because there is nothing about this Venom Heroic that I really need or want at this point in building my roster.
This is the worst thing they could have ran! Seriously, one of the worst rosters to date. Has anyone else ever seen such a bad collection of “heroes” to use in a heroic event??? You were doing so well with this anniversary devs…and then you totally botched it. Like really badly! We better be getting a great fucking story after this anniversary. No more of this bs. It’s upsetting in what was supposed to be a fun week celebrating the game. I guess we have to celebrate the worst part of this game too aka crap heroes in a crap heroic???
Also to everyone asking about subs, there are no subs. Just grinding to death.
