I haven’t been able to reproduce this. Subsequent scenarios worked as expected.
I assume my original report was wrong and this is a good example of why it is important to have bugs on video.

Playing 1.1 of RotGP with Samut PW
Greg destroyed my Vessel of Volatilty and he got the mana
Didn’t get it on video, it didn’t show up in the Battle Log, and it’s too hard to recreate
So I apologize for the lack of evidence
But the card specifically says that shouldn’t happen
I imagine Vessel’s behavior is related to a rather contentious decision

nice catch - the usefulness of the VoV is significantly reduced, like the three big creatures.
I wonder if the same would happen if my Lotus Petal is destroyed during Greg’s turn. If that’s the case then that is a waste of a Master Piece
I have tried twice now to recreate this, and it has worked properly each time.
At this point, I will call it a false report on my part. Going to update the first post.
