last night, game worked fine. This morning, before event, worked fine. Now there are weird black boxes around most graphics, so it gets in the way of health scores, pictures of second and third enemy, background, and many other things. Looks awful, impossible to beat event character if I have no idea what his health is. What gives?

Happens to me every once in a while.
I have my the app installed on my SD card. I believe the link between your phone and SD card is wonky.
Usually once I reboot the phone it fixes the problem.
