Tanking can really highlight the skill of low level players. This time my tank team (Juggernaut and Modern Black Widow, both boosted to level 68 this week) was taken out by a guy playing the loaner, Classic Storm with four covers… And Amadeus Cho with just a blue cover. Well done sir!

I’m really liking Red Hulk and Hood in this event. And using my lowly 0/0/1 instead of the loaner, on defence I don’t want her purple interfering with Gamma Siphon.

18 green is doing 15k+ damage, enough to one-shot most teams. Even poor Peggy can’t delay it, it doesn’t matter if Hammer & Anvil needs 13 to fire, I’m waiting for 18.

In other news, it turns out I didn’t know where the toilet paper is kept, so had to get the wife back. And as I need to buy stuff (including toilet paper), I’ve retracted my resignation. So these may be sometimes be a little late again.

And “Nancy” Drew? No-one noticed?

We have a new champion. Loaner, IM40 with one yellow cover, Classic Storm with one blue and one yellow cover…

I admit, I did the entire run up to 1000 points in this event with Totally Awesome Hulk. First 500 was Chulk and Spider-Gwen, last 500 with Chulk and Red Hulk. He’s not THAT bad.

I am fairly impressed with how much damage Spider-woman’s black ability can soak up.
