Having just opened another turd of a 10-pack I realized there’s very little instant gratification left for someone in 3* land. I enjoy the work, but it’s still work.
So, where are you at in this game and what’s on your MPQ horizon? I need to leech off some of your enthusiasm!
The inevitable Kotaku article about D3 laying off its entire staff without notice and going dark.
That might have leeched enthusiasm the wrong way, I guess.
A few things…
The 4* transition finally happening. We’ll likely get a little bit of a preview of it with Fury having all covers out in a few weeks and then hopefully see it go all the way when X-Force gets his buff.
More story, in general. I always enjoy the story that’s put together…though I think it could be a little bit more cohesive, or at least a little bit more dramatic…many of the Episodes feel kind of tangent to the overall storyline.
What are you looking forward to in MPQ?

I’m tired of the devs going in dry.
As in “wish”: replacing the lead designer with someone who either plays the game or have a good idea how it is actually done – now and on any change.
As in “prediction”: player base will get continually filtered to drop anyone with more sense than due to be a good sheep. And the play sinking into more and more boredom with every day.
Lowering roster slots prices; lowering cover prices, too, if they aren’t gonna improve god-awful tokens; increasing free roster slots’ number and healthpack slots.

I want to think the money I put in this game was not for nothing…
Some type of gauntlet play mode. If you want us to have a diverse roster, give us play mode that rewards using it.
Not to be a downer here, but don’t you think one of those “features” was “true healing”. It even says right on top of the announcement “New Feature: True Healing”.
Anyway, I’m really hoping the next “new feature” is a new type of game mode, or maybe more playable story/prologue chapters that are more difficult and have higher rewards. I’m also looking forward to them releasing more exciting characters (no offense lazy characters and she-hulk, but you are just not exciting).

However the game evolves, I’ll roll with it.
Rollback of True Healing before D3 goes under.
At some point they’ll presumably release the Thing, and I might spend the hp I’ve been semi-hoarding.
I’d also like to see Mr. Fantastic, but that might be a stretch.
Pretty tall order there.
Alright, I admit this marks me as a new player, but I am looking forward to buying 2 new roster spots before my Daredevil covers (from Blind Justice tournament) and Loki cover (from daily rewards) expire. They are the last two 3 star toons I don’t have on my roster.
Also I am looking forward to Army of One. If I win a couple Puny covers tonight, I may get to play my firsy PvP where my featured character is not irrelevant.
They’ve always hinted at achievements being in the works. So, maybe that’s something they will finally roll out.
For someone who only recently reach 3* land some time back, I’m just enjoying levelling my heroes and getting more max level characters.
Also, while the drop rate is low, I do enjoy opening up tokens and see the gold bling bling. I will do a mini fist pump…then click again to see what character did I get.
And when it’s a hero cover that I need (right now it’s Lthor yellow and Hood blue) I will let out a small cheer.
Such occurrences are far and few, but I’m ok cos when I’m in 3* land those covers are not crucial anymore. And since they are so rare, I learnt to appreciate them better.
