What character to improve with my HP?

Unsure if this should go in one of the other forums or General, so sticking it in General.

So after the completion of the Double Shot tourneys I have 3140 HP, which is enough to train 2 3* powers and still have enough for a new cover slot (I already have an open one for Punisher, but I want to always have a spare or enough HP to buy a spare).

I have two characters I want higher power/level, but not sure which I should choose:
Ragnarok (2 red/4 green, L64) – improve red
Spiderman (1y/2bl/3p, L66) – improve yellow or blue; probably blue

Suggestions welcome. I keep dithering. Having Spidey’s blue at 3 and/or yellow at 12 has distinct advantages; but Ragnarok can be so huge with his reduced red costs. Both are currently max level and I have about 20K in ISO to drop on leveling once I raise the powers.

It depends on your play style and goals really. I’d say both characters are just as good.

If you like ending games fast and want to perform well in lightning rounds, go with Ragnarok.

If you like staying in control of your matches above all else, go with spidey. Also, go blue first.

yellow spidey is…not a priority at all

Don’t train any of them. The skill will just get nerfed in the next patch. icon_razz.gif

I’d do blue spidey merely in.fear of a Nerf coming at ragnarok and not wanting to build heavily into him (using hp that is) until I feel safer about that. Spidey just got buffed so I don’t think he will get worse. That said, based on forum goers opinion of ragnarok I think his red would be superior. Ragnarok isn’t ragnarok without the mostly broken 2 ap thunderclap spam.

In a way, its Spiderman for pve and rag for PvP.

on the other hand there will be more opportunities to win spidey covers than rag covers (unless u wanna stress out rags lightning rounds…)

If i were you, I would go for Rag Covers - Red power since it’s one of his strongest ability and he will be definitely useful for almost all the characters who’s using green AP. Black Widow, C.Storm, Thor, etc
Not forgetting Hulk - His strongest ability should be green AP icon_mrgreen.gif

As for spidy, i guess you should just wait for his cover - His covers should be easier to win compare to Rag Covers.

Rag didn’t really start to work well for me until I had him at 4 Red covers (where he still sits). He still isn’t fast for me, since I have no green covers and thus level limited, but I can at least lock up the game with him and C.Storm. It just gets really boring.
