I swear, there used to be a point to playing these events. The turn from hulk tokens to heroic tokens was really bad, instead of getting those nice 3* characters I just get Ares over and over again.
But now we’re not even getting tokens from PvP events?!? This is so dumb, if you’re not going to offer decent covers for prizes, at least give us an incentive to get to 300 points
Ice has already mentioned that this was a quick and dirty fix to the token issues they were having in the past. Some people still havent gotten thier tokens from events quite a while ago, and a way of fixing it on thier side was simply to adjust the rewards. Ice insinuated (or maybe said directly - dont remember) that the prizes will be going back to event tokens after the fix (no date specified)
Psylocke and Black Panther will show up in Heroic pulls eventually. Grab those tokens and save them for later.
What are the actual odds on that though, less than a percent?
Yeah this change really hurts our chances of getting BP which is a shame.
They’ll probably buff him for the next event too… at least I would hope so… and if they get the tokens fixed and back in that hopefully it’ll give us more chances to get covers for him.
Was looking forward to getting my Hulk uk to par in the current event. One Green cover isn’t much to show for a 10 day tourney.
I did raise my Punisher to over 90 from 64, so not a complete loss. Hope they keep this progression reward structure for future events. Maybe even give us a chance for some Hulk covers next time to make up for the loss of tokens in this one.
You’re not missing much. Black panther kinda suck. Mine is 2/3/5 and I really don’t like him.
I tend to agree - two Molotov cocktails seem better than one big slashy slash slash - both take advantage of existing strike tiles, and, the molly throws out attack tiles.
and his yellow is just silly right now.
Sure, for veteran players the BP covers is the hurt, but I feel worse for newer players, who’re missing out on the O.Widow covers (which also had a much better drop rate than BP).
Bad times all round 
This is purely a small-sample anecdote, but I’ve gotten 4-5 OBW covers through this tourney’s Heroics (only 2 of them before the token downgrade), which was awesome, because they took my OBW to 3/4/4. It could just be RNG karma catching up, but my Heroic pulls from this event were significantly better than the endless Moonstones and Caps I used to pull from Heroics.
I’ve pulled 2 Wolv Xforce and 1 Invis Women this week from the heroic packs from Hulk events. So I’m glad this bug exists 
I pulled IW and XFW in a row with 2 heroic tockens from the hulk event and 2 BP out of 3 event tockens at the begin
This has been my best week (ever) for token pulls. I’ve had 14 heroics and pulled 7 three star characters. Only been able to use 2 of them, but still.
I don’t know how i missed this initially but i am glad to here it was because of a bug not a trend to make it even more difficult to finish 3* characters.
