What Shield clearance level do you chose

I went with 8 because I was already around 385 on scaling on that hardest nodes… so what’s 15 levels…

Like TheIncredibleClick, I didn’t see the message about the new scaling until after I had selected my usual CL8. I thought the jump was because I’ve gone from one to six champed 4*, but the jump seemed really punitive. My reward for finally getting my roster up to this level is that I end a match with two of the three dead and the other one with less than 500 health left.

I usually play 8, but the new scaling is beyond my current roster. I barely have enough ISO8 to champion my 4 stars to keep up with new releases and vaulting, there is no ISO8 left for my 5 stars. There is no way I can compete against level 400 opponents and still have fun.

You know @Brigby , the devs may have lost sight of the fact that this is a game and if it’s not fun we won’t pay to play.

Welp, misread the question.

8 would destroy me, I can handle 7 but I am not getting a good placement this time, down from at least top 50 to top 100.

8, because I wanted to see how bad it would be. Turned out to be not as bad as advertised. So far…

I usually play CL8 but I went for 7 for a much faster clear and grind with a small drop in rewards. This kind of scaling could be very useful for when there is an event you know you won’t have as much time available.

Played level 8. It seems right about the amount I was dealing with anyhow. I want to get the absolute most I can get in terms of progression rewards and I don’t really try all that hard and get placement between 20 and 50 (was 47).

This is my style of game play, getting top 10 would feel too much like a job and I already have one of those.

I also usually play 8 but in this particular event I chose 7. I don’t want to spend more time struggling with the enemies than i already do

I play 8, I think the progression rewards for covers are different, you get double covers instead of single IIRC.

never mind - didn’t realize this was about the test…

I do 8 unless it’s a new release. With the way the time slices work I’ll never get T10 either way so I’ll take the small amounts more ISO, HP, CP, etc.
