Looking like 2 consecutive events with same placement rewards. Should be a copy and paste error.

To be pedantic it looks like the rewards for the second Hunt are the next event’s rewards as the first Hunt’s placement shifts to progression.

Seems like there are multiple errors here.

A musing I have is that they will try to use Heroic affiliations that include at least one 6 star moving forward. This is based only on the past two allowing Galactus with Technologists and now CSM.

BUT, of course, the Spider-verse thing is likely more due to the movie.

Time will tell but if I were them I would try to always pick affiliations that allow at least one of the characters they are paywalling to be used in PVE.

For god’s sake, if you’re going to push Heroic and nerfs on us simultaneously can you at least align the boost lists so those of us without extensive ascended roster choices still have a powerful character or two to lean on?

I noticed the PVE wakanda starts on Aug 5 2026 4 am but im looking at its boosted for the week and its still the boosted from July 29 2026 to Aug 5 2026 4 am , should it be the boosted for the week of Aug 5 2026 4 am to Aug 12 2026 4 am instead?

The What’s New does not list the 6* rewards (possibly because not all SCLs get it? but then that’s true of 5s) in PVE. But the observed pattern has been that the most recently released 6 (Mojo) is always the placement reward, and the next most recently released 6 (Brawn-Chobot) is the progression reward(s).

The Webbed Wonder event that is currently running gives Mojo shards in placement as expected, but rewards 50 total Cosmic Ghost Rider shards in SCL10 in progression rewards. This is not what we would have expected and it seems likely the CGR rewards were not updated from a prior run.

SSSSHHHH … This is a VAST improvement being able to get shards for one of the actual decent ones.

And they did say they were gonna work on rotation for 6s. So who knows? We may even get some GMan shards and a 4th cover a year after his release.

I don’t recall them saying they were going to do anything with the rotation, but that they had heard our complaints about access.

My interpretation is that their answer was the CP vault, a thing you can definitely take advantage of using the rarest in game resource to add 6* shards we did not have before.

I agree I’d rather have more CGR but if they really go back to rotating all the 6s you will get 50 in progression every 2.5 weeks for all of them. But they would keep adding them in as new ones get released. But but even if not, it would take 30 weeks (plus bosses with none, so probably like 35ish weeks) to get 600 shards for all 5 of the old ones that exist currently.

It was in the June Q&A thread, Migz said the rotation would be tied to The Tower rather than new releases to speed things up, and that it would be cyclical. We didn’t get any clarification beyond that, though. At least that gives us a little more access to earlier releases!

OK…but the Tower started 5 days ago, and the prior event that started with it had the standard Cho shards. The Tower would be a bit of a weird thing to tie the shards to, but I guess it does sync up with the release days of the 4s, 6s, and possible 2s.

I guess we can see if they really plan something like changing it on the non-6 release days. I am ambivalent about them swapping in different toons to get 50 shards an event for. Over 4 weeks you would get 350.

Is their plan:

  1. New 6 releases, put prior 6 in progression, so you get another 350 shards
  2. New 4 releases, swap the 6 in progression for one of the older people, get 350 for them
  3. Repeat

?

Or some other idea? I realize they don’t really lay out their plans about this stuff, but I think it’s way too early to assume this run with CGR isn’t an error.
