What's the difference: "8 random enemy AP" / "8 enemy AP in a random color"

Ask Star-Lord (***) and there is no difference.
However I think this wording is either faulty, or the power itself is faulty.

Either they should change the power description to:
“Steal 8 enemy AP in a random color” since that’s what he does.
Or they should change the power into truly stealing 8 random enemy AP (I’d prefer that).

Both the wording of and the stealing design in itself is bad.

In case of your description above it should be worded as “Steal up to 8 enemy AP in one random color”
