Usually they update by now (the first day of the new season, they were being pushed in overnight before that). I am not sure if 341’s snafus are causing an issue of some sort but nothing has changed on my end yet. I did update to 341 before they told people not to.

Normally how? For years and years, the update happened on the night before the new season started. We are in the era, now, when new seasons start in the US and many other places on Wednesday.
I am pretty certain War’s shards came very early Wednesday (like 1:30 am) for me in EDT.
If the devs want to push feeder shards back to a day after the season starts, that’s fair but I’d think they want to have things trigger (or not) before their Thursday workday so they can make adjustments as needed.
That was the whole point of moving everything up a day from what it was for basically the entire history of the game before Feb 2026.

Because they said to hold off on updating Rs until they force it tomorrow.. Assuming everything is tied to it and they are holding back the data push until the fixed R. Pass is also Dropbears and nothing PVP next season is up yet.
So, all that is fair and makes sense. But not “normal” which is the word that threw me off.

We use “normally” also in the meaning of “as expected” here, which does include current info about situations and not only prior situations. It’s more contextual.

First Power Season PvP is showing as Army of One in 8 hours or so, I got auto updated so I guess nothing to do but wait and see when the new build hits, probably during the night UK time.
The banner is wrong. Power Season is the one that just ended.
