I know D3 says they have some big new events in the pipeline but when are they coming?
Give us a few hints please. Get us excited for it! Now is the time to hear the people cheer with glee rather than hear us all collectively groan as Season 4 starts
They had plenty of time and ideas to improve the game and didn;t bother even with the most blatant bugs that take 5-10 minutes to fix. Instead threw in all kinds of stuff that made a big portion of players leave and and even bigger portion to stay enduring pain.
Judging by the last 3-5-10 big changes it won’t be anything to make most people happy only a few selected individuals.
To be fair, depending on where you were in the game, that could be viewed as a feature. If you didn’t use Spidey/OBW then your characters now regen faster (even with their increased levels).
I no longer slog through the same exact Ares/Thor/Pun + OBW teams.
I see a lot more Hulks and CStorms. CStorm has low HP and dies quickly, and without opposing strike tiles even hitting her hard is just like taking a couple extra match-3s. Without 5 green, Hulk is (as someone recently described) a big pinata, that when you poke him, green candy comes out. I’m also seeing teams without those, so people are playing different teams. It has at least spiced up pvp a bit.
supposedly true healing made the game harder( which isn’t true, it just made strategy more paramount:, but let’s say you’re right. so you’re saying, you’re not good enough to deal with increased difficult in a game? then I recommend you try candyland or monopoly and leave the real games to the professionals.
I know children that don’t whine this much.
are you arguing you loved healing in prologue and grinding all day? because if you’re not, you should say thank you, and please find other ways to make the game better such as fix mmr and end times for euro players.
people used to complain about a lack of iso, events, and hp,as well as scaling and server issues. they improve all these, but instead of giving credit, people seem to want to ignore the positive changes and just focus on what hasn’t happened yet.
just at least try and have some perspective. why would any one listen to us, if we’re not going to give objective feedback?
edit: my point was twofold. it seems there are always complaints regardless what the change is and usually before people have given the change a chance. two, the game should challenge you atsome level, otherwise what’s the point of playing? so what if the challenge changes periodically. it’s like going up on levels in other games, otherwise it’s similar to playing three level over and over again. it’s like playing Madden on easy and winning by 100, then complaining normal is too hard because you have to play better to only win by 40.
it was not meant to be derisive, it was meant to demonstrate absurdity by being absurd.
also I already stated below that someone with better wording than me said what I was trying to say much better.
your point sounds better than mine. and you beat me by a minute.
I don’t think ppeople remember how bad it was 2 months ago or so. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but there have been significant improvements. they even communicate some things in the in-game bubble. they used to never do that.
Actually, they did do it for a time after the Rag fiasco. They put up an in-game bubble announcing Thor/Wolverine nerfs, as well as a list of the upcoming character changes iirc. That’s where the term “Funbalance” came from - the devs coined it themselves.
Then when the furor died down they stopped communicating again. Or they got lazy, whatever
