Hi, I am looking for advice as which cover to sell.
Some of the characters that I have that are possible for me to sell are as below:
Devil Dinosaur
lvl 70
DevilDino has been sitting in my roster for long time now and only used occasionally for tanking so not sure whetherr is he worth keeping. But there seem to be Devil Dinosaur cover from SHIELD resupply at 365 but I only at days 130 plus.
1* Hawkeye : 5/5 lvl40
Venom :5/5 lvl 40
I have 2 others 1* character: Iron Man and Storm, both lvl 50
I will like to replace 2 of the above with Hulk
and cMag
Are both of them worth replacing the above?
How about replacing them with 2Hawkeye (have 1
and 1
cover) or replace one of the 1 with Juggernaut (have few covers but limited ISO)?
I think the most important question is whioch of teh covers mentioned above that are in my roster that I can sell to replace future covers that I want.
OK, so you are fully transitioned to 2* land. That certainly helps. In that case you can definitely dump Venom and Hawkeye - I’d go with Venom first since Hawkeye occassionally is featured in Heroic Mode. I’d take a pass on Juggernaut - he is useful in Balance of power/Combined Arms, but doesn’t really need to be leveled for that, so you can start a new one if you need him.
Devil Dino is tricky - he was only available during the anniversary week and as daily rewards, so if you sell him he will be tricky to replace. On the other hand, his main use is as a scarecrow, so I don’t suppose you would lose much by dropping him.
Hawkeye is a pretty decent two-star, but his main use is as a third in the Storm/Magneto pairing. Without a usable Magneto you may not get much use out of him as you have no way to trigger Speed Shot at will.
I’d hang on to Hulk at least since you never know when he might be Essential in PvE. CMagneto on the other hand is out of tokens at the moment and won’t be featured, and when he returns he’ll likely be offered as a reward before being Essential. Also, Yellow is probably his weakest color, so I’m not sure you need to save it. Do hang on to it for now if you can, but that is a good candidate to get rid of if you run out of room.
Thanks. Another question that I would like to ask does Devil DIno (lvl 70) has any affect on the difficulty of any PVE and PVP if I have it in my roster? If I am not wrong, the health of your team when you use them to fight in PVE and PVP will affect the difficulty but I not sure when if a high health/HP character in my roster will affect them.
You’re at a point where I, when I was there, decided to spend money in a game for the first time at all.
From now on you will have this problem of getting a lot of different 3* covers which never build up to something useful for months and need a lot of space, but if you dismiss them you might bite yourself in the butt later in the game. Now you only have to choose between 2 characters, but trust me, it gets way worse. You will probably receive a cover for nearly each character in the game before you get your first character to 5 covers and I wouldn’t consider a 3* worthwile (better than a maxed 2*) before he has at least 9 covers. So if you want to transistion to 3* land without paying for roster slots prepare yourself for a lot of painful selling. If you decide to take the rough road this thread might help you to decide on who to sell and who to keep: https://forums.505go.com/discussion/21083
I have a question about rosters too, I have 8 2*'s maxed and am just working on getting some 3*'s going up. If I have 5 blue covers for a 3* and get another blue cover for him, is there any point in creating a second version of that charactor?
Thank you,
When you are building your roster? No, probably not. When you have some fully leveled characters you could create alternates if you want, but at this stage you probably need the ISO more than the cover.
Around lvl 40
Blade: 3/2/0
Rocket and Groot : 1/2/1
Hood: 1/1/1
Hulk: 2/0/0
Falcon: 1/0/0
Magneto: 1/0/0
1* : Iron Man and Storm, both lvl 50
Currently in reward section:
Punisher
Luke:
Is it time for me to just sell away the 1*star character for Punisher and Luke? Also it seem like next season cMag will be rotated in the roster, so dunno whether it is worth keeping since I think it will be better if I think it is better if I try not to keep too much repeated character in my roster Thanks in advance.
I would definitely drops the 1s as you have plenty of 2’s to use so that you will barely miss them, if you even use them at all anymore.
I’d hang on to CMags, since he’s coming out of the vault he should have some events going on that might let you get more covers and the random chances of pulling him from tokens.
Around lvl 40:
Falcon: 3/0/1 lvl
Luke Cage: 3/1/0 lvl
Cyclops: 1/0/1 lvl
Gamora: 2/0/2 lvl
Doctor Doom 1/2/0
Deadpool: 1/0/1 lvl
With 1 cover only (lvl 40)
Sentry
Punisher
Wolverine
Currently in reward section:
Invisible Woman
Spiderman
Soon to get in SHIELD Resupply:
Black Panter
Currently the character that I have doubt keeping permantly in my roster are:
Gamora (expensive for her attack w/o her
, and also I have 3
character in roster and I only feel lke keeping 2, I still prefer Hulk and Punisher to her)
Sentry (Don’t really like Self-damage and I think need more covers to be good to use), and also it is vaulted
Devil Dino (still cant bear to sell it)
I was wondering if Invisible Woman worth keeping as she will be given in the future via SHIELD Resupply but all her attack seem very expensive.
As for Devil Dino, do you think it will be become essential and be included in token draw? Seem like a waste a character is design but not included.
I would pick two teams of 6 2s and dump the others before getting rid of any 3 or 4*s, but that’s my preference.
The more 3*s you hang on to, the more chances you have at being able to complete all the DDQ nodes. Even if you don’t intend to level the character, it’s worth it just for the ISO you would be getting. (You’re also going to want to pick up a Juggs to hit the first node. I’ve had no trouble beating it with just him at level 15 and fully covered.)
You also never know how the Token gods will favor you. There are a couple 3*s that I had considered selling in the past, but held onto them due to HP gains to open slots instead of having to sell. I’m glad I did, because they quickly outpaced ones I had more covers for and are now some of my highest level characters simply because that’s how the covers came.
If it comes down to having to sell someone, once you’ve pared down the 2s and spent what HP you have to open slots, then I’d sell low covered 3s that are vaulted, starting with those most recently vaulted.
