Y’all know it goes without saying 5* number 1 needs to be Omega Red. But 5* #2 goes to the most legendary of all characters created by the great Robert Liefeld, my generation’s Jack Kirby, to coincide with the 30 year anniversary of X-Force hitting the shelves. And that character is of course…FOREARM.
He’d probably tell you he did, he is a HUGE Neal Adams fan and is very open about wearing his influences on his sleeve. I think a lot of these quad-armed characters stem back from John Carter of Mars in the 19xx pulp tradition and the White/Green Martians. Certainly Goro from mortal kombat, which would have been in the Zeitgeist around the time of Forearm, is pretty much full on a Martian Chronicles echo.
I LOVED this character as a kid! Used to daydream about what it would be like to have four arms even though I knew nothing about him. You know what other X-book character would be an awesome random addition to the game? RANDOM! Maybe I can change my vote?
I get why he’s not on the list, but he’s a very cool character. yet to make an MCU appearance but i tell ya, if he gets on the screen, he’ll be a big hit.
I think they should consider an OLD x-men character called “Wolverine”. i think he’s pretty cool.
So what you’re saying is we don’t need just a character but an entire boss event revolving around Hell Cow. Like in Diablo. This is the kind of out-of-the-box thinking I can get behind.
