Wildgrowth Walker in Across Ixalan

Wildgrowth Walker says “Whenever a creature you control, explores…” In the second Across Ixalan node, your creatures explore every turn but the Walker doesn’t care about that. Is that intentional?

my guess is it’s not coded as creature explore. (possibly due
to colourless creatures exploring)

I thought as much but it’s still a shame (even if it’s typical for this game). And it was the only way I saw myself playing this card at all.

Does Wildgrowth Walker react to a regular creature Exploring?
I ran both Wildgrowth Walker and Lurking Chupacabra in the Across Ixalan 2nd node, and the Chupacabra did react appropriately to the Explore at start of turn.

Looking at the cards in the game, on the Chupacabra text, the word “Explore” is bolded and links to the popup textbox. For the Walker, this word is not bolded, and does not bring up the info text when touched.

Yes. It reacts properly to other explore triggers, just not to the one the node provides you at the start of your turn.
