I’m a little confused about what The Vault does to hoarded taco tokens. I saw where IceIX said they won’t carry over to The Vault and will become “expired” tokens. But does that mean they become completely unusable, or just permanently set at the last two rounds of Deadpool Daily (basically this week’s rotation and last week’s rotation)?
Can someone clarify if my Taco’s will go stale after The Vault opens or if I can still eat them later?
You can still redeem your expired tokens. IceX was just using the word “expired” to describe tokens that pop over to the inactive event page.

Emphasis is mine. Expire in this case doesn’t mean that your tacos become less yummy.
It does mean, though, that they will never be “freshened” up with new rotations. If I were you, I’d open them right away since this is very last batch and at least includes 3* Bullseye, a new character that you likely haven’t fully covered.
Agreed, there’s no point in hoarding Tacos now.
Just dumped the rest of mine. Pulled a Mystique Black from the other pack and a Bullseye Green from the current one. Thor (Marvel NOW!) decided to muscle in on the 2* front. Moonstone didn’t even get a look in!

Just dumped 30 odd tokens in two lots, pulled 500HP, and 4 3*s (one usable Squirrel Girl). A good haul.
So… the double stockpiles I have of B tokens are going to forever pull Mystique now? Boooooo…

I just knew they’d somehow make our hoarding obsolete. Especially after it didn’t work out the way that they wanted, after they “disappeared” the tacos and then brought them back on messed up pages / orders / groupings.
I’d be inclined to look at it another way. I think they’ve seen that we hoard tokens, in order to spend them in weeks where we actually want the characters, in effect creating our own little “vaults”. All they’ve done is elaborate on that.
Sigh, opened 64 tacos, only two 3*s. I hope the vault treats me better. I was saving them all for a week from Friday for Cyclops, Hood, Thor draws.

Will the tokens still be called tacos? I don’t understand how a taco can “open” a vault.
For example: If I get a taco from Taco Bell then walk over to the Capital One bank and hold a taco up to the banker’s face yelling “open the vault!” The banker would likely laugh in my face and have me escorted out.
Obviously the above example is a joke

opened my 10 stockpile from last round (was saving it for scarlet witch round) and got 250hp, green hulk, purple daken and purple doom. dont need daken or hulk, sigh, would have been nice for scarlet witch round

all sold… since i knew they were all for chars i didn’t need, was at least hoping for some HP.. oh well.
what I don’t understand is on page 2 of that thread (not sure how to quote from a diff thread), icex says:
"They’re planned to be different tokens. So no stockpiling. We want to get real data on how this Vault is actually performing and if it’s working. Having people blow 100 tokens at various times hurts that a bit. 
"
then on pg 3 he says:
“And yeah, if you want to stockpile, that’s on you. Same as it is now with some players that wait for the precise 5 daily characters and splurge then.”
I’m sure there’s an explanation, I just think I’m not getting something…
The first part he was referring to current tacos, stockpiling them for the vault won’t work because they are different tokens.
2nd part is for the “going forward” after the vault is in play.
ok, that wasn’t made clear enough for me - can be slow at times… I was literally saving a stack up for next week. will those still update to next week’s characters? patch/blade/torch? I’d really like to know that. it they do, all is well and I guess we’ll have a whole new system in place.
