About an hour till Civil War starts, I wonder if the servers will be able to handle it, like how well it’s handled Ultron and Galactus.
Of course it will, they’re never prepared for the massive influx.
Blizzard has similar issues.
Splitting it into what is essentially 2 different events could be the saving grace…you wont (or at least you shouldn’t) have the entire player base flooding into the same event at the same time, it should be closer to a 50/50 split…but yea, the smart money is still on a one way ticket to crash-town 
Maybe there has been enough player migration out of the game recently that the servers can hold.
I’m never hopeful though. More likely as players migrate out, server blades are simply removed and capacity may be lower than ever.
The correct question is, “will server access be completely restored before Hulk slice 3 ends?”

I was logged into the game 10 minutes to start time then the bloody wife came out with “Just run the hoover around and tidy the children’s room for me”. Did it in a record 20 minutes and now can’t access it

Is the best solution to keep slices for big alliance events like this? I’m trying to decide if that ruins the team-play aspect. Or if you can split your squad so 1/3 of your team hits Cap (or IM) at the start, slice 2 starts and hour later, and slice 3 an hour after that. Should be a massively smaller server load, right?

“Something has gone awry” message when I tried to get in event and of course now I can’t even get into the game. I guess I will wait a few days for the “the outage was for every user so no compensation.” message.
No surprised at all, also awesome how group progress isn’t being rewarded. Clear round 1 and it still says we’re on that round with no progression.
