In AWR level 2-1, My opponent played a Willbreaker, and stole a Harbinger of the Tides and the Weatherlight from me. (The Weatherlight was the copied card I received at the start of the level).
At the end of the turn, I regained control of the Harbinger, but my opponent kept control of the Weatherlight.
@starfall Does this only occur when Willbreaker is the card that gains control of the Weatherlight, or have you seen it occur with other “steal” cards?
I’ve so far never noticed this happen when I play with my own copy of the Weatherlight, only with the copied version which you get in AWR. It would be difficult for me to test other steal cards since they must be played by my opponent, and I’d have to be using a copied Weatherlight.
