**Goal:** A friendly competition with other players for the highest points possible! **Rules:** - Each person commenting on this thread can ‘play’ 1 creature, spell, or support per comment; this counts as the player’s turn. A player may have another turn by commenting again, but only if at least 2 other players have had turns since. - Each player keeps track of their current board state, and has it added to each comment. - Each card can only be played once. **Point System:** - Your creatures attack during each of your turns. Damage dealt by creatures during your turn are directly added to your points. (_Other players don’t lose life or points by this, your creatures are essentially mining you points_). - Killing a creature (or locking it down) via a spell or support gives you half the points of the creatures power, rounded up. - Higher tiered cards cost points to cast: (Common: free Uncommon: 5points Rare: 10 points Mythic: 25 points Masterpiece: 50 points). - You can’t spend points you don’t have. - If a card you play allows you to draw cards, you instead gain 3 points for each card you would have drawn. - Life gain is 1 point per 1 life gained. - If a card you play forces your opponent to discard cards, you gain 3 points for each card you would force your opponent to discard (_handle this like a 1 vs. 1 MTGPQ match_). _Credit to Thuran for cool idea_! - Gem change awards 1 point per gem changed. _Credit to Thuran._ - Treasures can be “cashed in” for 3 points during your turn, or held onto for future synergies. _Credit to Thuran_. I made this up, in the moment, off the top of my head, so additional rules can be added later to smooth out any arising complexity! I’ll post my first turn below for demonstration. ---

I play colossal dreadmaw 6/6 trample with summoning sickness top empty middle empty bottom colossal dreadmaw (6/6 trample) soon to be empty lol I’m confused. Do I have 6 points or do I have 0? ---

Do I have 6 points or do I have 0? you have to work your way up. The only free cards to cast are commons. Uncommons, rares, mythics, masterpieces cost points. Otherwise people might just drop Emrakul or Piggy turn 1 lol ---

However Wrath of God is a masterpiece, so you’d lose 50 points in casting it. However, each card can only be cast once, among all of us. So only one player could cast Wrath of God. ---

I cast Boiling Earth with awaken. I deal 1 damage to all opposing creatures, killing Nest Robber. I attack with my 4/4 elemental. Is my half point for killing Robber rounded up or down? Top empty middle empty Bottom 4/4 elemental. 5 points ---

I cast Clutch of Currents with awaken on @HypnoticSpecter’s elemental thus bouncing and killing it and summon a 3/3 island elemental with haste. I get 2 points from killing the elemental. And 3 points from my own elemental’s attack Top slot empty Middle slot empty Bottom slot: 3/3 island elemental with haste Total points: 8 ---

Cast Rush of Ice with awaken. Disabling Gilestone’s Rampaging Hippo (wont be able to attack during your next turn but can attack the following turns as it’s a 1-turn disable only). Summons 3 1/1 island elemental tokens with haste. Gain 3 points from disabling a 5/6 (half its power rounded up). Plus 3 points from swinging with the 3 1/1 island tokens = 6 total points End turn. Board state. 3 - 1/1 elemental tokens. Total Points: 7 ---

I cast Encircling Fissure with awaken, disabling everyone’s creatures for 1 turn and making 2 1/1 elementals with haste. I think that’s 27 power disabled, so 14 points plus 2 for the attack. First position empty Middle empty Last 2 1/1 elementals. 16 points. ---

I cast Rolling Thunder with awaken. An uncommon spell from BFZ. Costs me 5 points. It deals 2 damage and then 4 damage to each of opponents’ creatures and the opponent. All opposing creatures **DIE!** Total power of dead critters 26, I get 13 points. I get 6 points for dealing damage to opponent. (_do I get 6 for each opponent? Not sure)_ top empty middle empty Bottom 3/3 island elemental which will be enabled next turn. Total points: 3+13+6= 22 ---

Given we are referencing mtgpq version of cards instead of mtg cards, and that mtgpq is currently 1 vs 1 only, I’d conclude there would only be 1 opponent being hit for 6.
