I always have trouble finding a good slice with this set of end time, any suggestion for high scoring ?

Usually most high tier alliances take a break when it off-season so getting big points can be hard without them leading the way no matter the slice.

Huh. I can actually use the reward since I’m respecing Mohawk from 5/3/5 to 5/5/3…

Normally that is the case. But with the wildcard Legendary token, many will be playing as normal

That’s the PRE-LEGENDARY TOKEN assessment. If you look at the top pvp alliances, only a minority of their members are carrying one or more SS covers right now. Thus, I think the two off season events, which now carry the legendary token at 1,300 points, WILL be competitive and many players WILL score high.

They’ll likely be there for Divine Champions too. The only difference between these tokens and regular Heroic tokens is that these do not have a Daily Deal.

I had to stop because I couldn’t find anyone worth more than 4 points and I was sitting unshielded for over an hour tonight with more than 1100 points, just picking off teams that will only be losing 1 point per loss.

I finally shielded at 1,164. The next closest in my bracket has 818 and I’m guessing that no one has made a push like me yet with 1 day and 14 hours left. I mostly ran 350 Jean, 240 switch, and 240 Marvel, but I was putting in my blue surfer to fight the other Jean groups (ignore stun, so I can make my match 5 and keep going).

Came back on 45 minutes later and saw that I won a retaliation to put me at 1,171 and lost about 6 others. I should be worth about 75 points a pop for the retaliations, so hopefully the economy of the slice improves when people start hitting my shield.

I think I must have fought about 40 people tonight, so there should be a lot of people who have me in their retaliation queue, but I’m guessing that the mid level teams will just hit skip. I’ve never hit 1,300 before, so I think this is the event to do it.

That should be slice one. Ironically, slice five would be normal pick as well.

using OBW/psylocke/mohawk (5/5/3), practically cruised to 800, would try for 1k but not enough people have high enough points yet for it to be worth it for me.

Kingpin is mine with a day and a half left in the event. Won’t bother shielding, will be interesting to see how far I can fall. Might make a push for 1300 later if there’s point for it. It seems slice 5 is a bit dry this time though.

No Surfer, but at least I can drop my shield and let the rest of the teams feed on some free points. Shield will be down in 5 hours and 14 minutes for anyone looking to hit me while the hitting is good.

Absolutely horrible luck w/ this event. Lost 4 matches. Plus sniped 1x while taking the loss. So that’s 200 down. With 16 hours remaining, I need 450 points to reach 1.3. Not happening.

I guess I’ll have to settle for the legendary token from weekly ddq today.
