With the Amonkhet set finally about to fade into legacy with the (arguably probable) likelihood of the new Core set replacing it, I thought it would be good to immerse ourselves in that world, one last time.
So*…the final hour is upon us.*
You happen to be in the central bazaar of Naktamun, surrounded by all the finest goods available in Amonkhet. The screams of the planeswalkers you considered friends reach your ear, and fade as they’re defeated by Bolas. Replacing that sound, starting softly in the distance but growing louder, are the groans of the zombies, the swarms of insects, and the thuds of really large beats approaching. It seems like the end is really here. There’s nowhere left to run. This is it.
So what is your final meal going to be? Choose your meal below, and then explain in the comments section what you plan to do after you eat it? Assume the merchants are either dead or distracted (by obvious reasons) so you don’t have to worry whether or not you can afford it.

I’d go to a local sushi place I know of. I always eat too much when I go there. It’s to die for. So appropriately would be my last Amonkhet meal.
EDIT: I would then head to Ixalan and have their special seafood servings… Merfolk? Does that count as fish or canibalism? I’m now confused… And disturbed by what i have done with the image I just put in my head.
This is so hard to pick, you didn’t give enough information.
What are the merchant’s specialties? Daily specials?
What am I in the mood for that particular day? What did I eat this week?
How much running am I expected to do before dying? How much fighting?
Am I with people? Are we sharing things and dying together?
Am I using my food as a weapon? Am I running away from monsters with it?
So many questions.
Also, since this is an Egypt themed world, the answer is obviously a Schwarma Laffa. No contest. All other answers are objectively wrong.
I also added that you should include what you plan on doing after you eat your last meal in the comments. So, if you plan on fighting, I recommend something light with the proper balance to get all your vitamins and minerals.
Come on FindingHeart8… Amonkhet is clearly borrowing a lot from the Ancient Egyptians and not a single middle eastern or NE African dish? Some nice ka bobs, baba ghanoush or at least a nice scorpion stew?
I figured with a limitation on the number of poll-options, that most people would want the “other” so I picked the super generic foods just in case being stranded on a desert planet would make you crave some ice cream
I just discovered these and I hope Naktamun has a good Cuban restaurant to make a stop before the final fight with the Eternals, the 3 gods who betrayed and the dragon God-Pharaoh
