I used to use this team back in late 2023 to early 2024 or so, after ascension started.
I presume at some point Vision’s CDs will be rebalanced….enjoy it while you can!

This works as long as Kaine has the highest match damage in red, his default. May is mostly just there for the Arc Reactor & starting red AP. Widow’s red makes red tiles, and Chimi gives you a chance at getting 2 extra red per match, so you can spam Widow’s red over & over. One you get a cushion of 20+ red, use Kaine’s to mark an enemy or two, then go back to Widow until you can safely mark the last enemy, assuming there still is one. Once they’re all marked my baby champed Kaine is doing over 19K AoE per red match, which Widow will make a ton of. Kaine’s blue will also help make some red matches when needed. I used this for the DPvMPQ villain challenge node for 3 clears & never needed to heal anyone.

I haven’t ascended my Spider Horse yet so no support there, but Shuri’s Lab is a good choice if the match damage needs to be higher on Kaine. My lab is only R4, so a bit better chance for the extra AP with my R5 Chimi. Good to have options!
I’ve never actually used Horse’s yellow, I’m so used to the “doesn’t do damage or generate AP” abilities it never occurred to be that it would! I mostly try to save the web tiles for his passive stun, but now I have a new trick to add to the arsenal! Thanks for that!

It wasn’t slow at all, though. We’ve always had infinite teams that take like half an hour to win a match. We still do, and nobody uses them because nobody wants to take half an hour to win a match. The Hawkeye teams were winning at about the same speed that every other team wins.

They didn’t release Hawkeye in a broken state, they made a choice to transform him into that broken state.

It wasn’t this Dev team who chose to make Hawkeye like he became so you can’t really attack them for correcting what they clearly see was a mistake.

Just looked and Vision’s blue puts down a 99-turn tile too.
I have the same red & purple for Cosmic Spidey & he was actually the first option in place of Kaine in that team I mentioned with May & Widow. Chimichanga works perfectly since it gives you a chance for extra AP in those two colors. You give Widow plenty of red to spam, but when you cascade into enough purple you can use Spidey’s red to make webs around red or purple clusters, then his purple is doing between 200 & 300K, plus filling your red & purple back up.
Really the main reason I posted the Kaine version was because I felt it was more accessible than a 6 & a few in my alliance didn’t have him.

Can I move my post back that was just about a team I like & didn’t have anything to do with nerfs etc? I think it was in the middle of a bunch of other posts & got caught up in the move.

Don’t have this team yet (or even close) but thinking a team of Man-Thing/Boomerang/PurpleMan will be skipped a bit in Simulation. Maybe it won’t work at all but I’m looking forward to trying it.
