What do you do when playing that seems dumb, but you can’t help?
For example:
When the game is loading, I try to move my mouse through both of the gaps in the circles when they line up perfectly.
I click repeatedly on Iron Man’s little glowy light on the title screen, because it makes a bunch of lightning zaps appear.
I always immediately close the pop-up that lets you know about current info, then regret it because I realize that there was actually something new.
When I’m tank-retreating, I always try to make sure that all 3 of my characters do damage before they are brutally slaughtered because they only have 7 health left. (NO idea why)
I frequently check my Season 1 placement, even though I know it hasn’t changed.
Regarding the pop-up, I also try to anticipate closing ones that don’t even exist. Want to check the Season 1 brackets? Let me just tap in the upper right hand corner for no reason, first…
Near the end of an event I use boosts for a tough fight, then I go to do a Prologue heal and mindlessly click through to the start the fight burning a duplicate set of boosts. And of course then I win the Prologue fight too quickly to actually get my characters healed.
I click as much as the game allows me on Iron Man’s palm (sometimes), use boosts that I don’t want to because they are left from previous fight and I clicked too fast, use wrong ability at the wrong time because I was overzealous (use Doom’s blue instead of OBW’s), forget to change target and target a no threat enemy, (un)consciously target the wrong enemy and realize after a few turns that it don’t make sense, try to deny a color from enemy but end providing them with it instead, don’t use a particular ability even though I have enough AP to use it twice, forget to heal with OBW and end up getting her or team mates killed.
I definitely close the news window by accident fairly often, others are:
I tap on Iron Man as many times as possible to load the game
I only turn the sound on to hear Punishers Retribution
I berate the AI that cannot hear me when it makes a stupid move
I guess my thing is, when I use boosts, let’s say 1 boost in each slot (so three of them), when the match loads, there’s the animation explaining what boosts your using. Takes forever.
While that is going on, I am continually clicking on the opposing characters as I want to reshuffle them to get the one to take down first in the first position. Of course, you can’t until all the animation is done.
So I click, click, click…listening to the sound it makes…any match where boosts are used.
