Your "what the what???" MTGPQ moments....

Here is mine – Seems I’ve got a Thopter token in hand thanks to Hostage Taker.

What’s your strangest MTGPQ moment?

Actually encountering Solemnity in the wild, and having it be an issue because I was using a cycling deck.

Sounds like someone is trying to cover up that they made a deckbuilding mistake

Just faced a Nissa 1 that hard-casted 4 Gaias in the first 6 turns on the Green node in Race.
Added in a Dagger of the Worthy to seal the deal.

My favorite weirdness-in-hand moment was back with the old Season’s Past when Clue Tokens would get returned too. Ended up with 4 in hand at one point

I should have screenshot it but I got Believe (the other side of Reason) back on my hand twice (I don’t remember how). When it was played (for zero mana), it just became an activity gem again.

Etali. Just Etali. It’s like a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a paradox, dropped into a Klein bottle, covered with Mobius strip, shaken and stirred, fed through a wormhole governed by paraconsistent logic, then woven on the other side into the MtGPQ equivalent of Cloud Atlas (by reputation; I have to admit I haven’t actually seen the movie). It seems to have more bugs than a Raid research facility, but it’s just too much fun not to play at nearly every available opportunity.

Or more concisely, it’s a little reminiscent of this:

The vanishing creature bug is my personal pick. I’ve run across it a couple times, once it allowed me to Lay Claim my own creature when I chose the invisible creature my opponent has out.
