Hi, I need roster spots and I have three 1* characters that I use only for Deadpool’s Daily Quest, “That Guy From That Place.” So I want to downsize from three to a single 1*. My question is: Is there a single 1* character that is strong enough to reliably beat that DDQ node? Such as Juggernaut or Venom or something like that?
Juggernaut. Never fails.
IM35 works for me
Hawkeye’s the one I use- but sometimes 2* hawkeye comes up and then I have to scramble to get a 1-green-cover Juggernaut in there with boosted TU and an area of effect boost or Doom’s attack tiles.
I’ve just kept IM…more than enough. He’s gotten below 2/3 of his health maybe once ever. Hit yellow or red fast fire it to kill and it’s essentially over at that point
Juggernaut. You could argue iron man, but you’d be wrong. 
Both can do it, but the advantage of juggs is that juggs teamups are among the most useful in the game. 6 TU ap to shake the board up. No one wants IM35 teamups.
Thanks. Is Iron Man ever the guy you have to fight? Because I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jugs as “That Guy”.
I don’t think I ever saw IM as an opponent. I was using him for quite some time, then I leveled Juggernaut. No regrets, Jugg is faster and more reliable.
Juggs is also slightly less costly to level. Only 10 covers and capped at lvl 40. Not a big difference but ya Juggs has that 1* node on lockdown.
I think the only times I’ve ever lost that 1* node with Juggs was symbiote nonsense.
Juggs is my guy. I keep a 1* Spidey at lvl 1, but max covered for BoP and just a little backup via Purple for Juggs.
I have just IM35 and winning every time. I believe though Juggs is even better, just not bothering to roster him anymore
Just out of curiosity, does the computer ever send the other team-up, you know, “Head Butt”?
It can’t, because Headbutt does damage to Juggernaut specifically.
Ok, I wasn’t sure what the parameters were. So I guess you can never get Ares’ Sunder or Sentry’s Sacrifice for the same reason?

Passives and powers that change the caster’s state cannot be given as Team-ups. For powers that have both an active and a passive, only the active parts can be given as Team-ups.
There are exceptions, of course. IIRC XFDP’s red can be given out as a TU, though, of course, nobody gets the heal when you use it.
btw had Spiderman before im35, but ditched it when realized that you get vs bag-man occasionally and can’t beat DDQ from that day if you have just him in your roster. I had Juggs too (I should have stayed that way). So I was a fool and had first im35, then changed to Juggs to Spiderman and back to im35! Ended up losing a lot of precious iso8…
“That Guy” Is always a 2*, so Jugs and IM are both safe.
That was true for the first year of DDQ, but since the rework one-star show up occasionally - Classic Hawkeye showed up the other day, for example.
I am fairly sure Juggernaut has never showed up in that node so far though. I am less certain about Iron Man.
