So I’ve almost saved up enough ISO to champ another 3*. I already have 9 champed (Cpt. Marvel, BP, 3Mag, MoStorm, Colossus, 3Cyc, 3Pool, 3Hulk and Doom). I have Beast, Psylocke and Squirrel Girl fully covered with Rocket&Groot and FatThor one cover away each. Who should I champ? I want the TeenJean covers from Beast, but I don’t want that to be the sole decider at this point. It typically takes me 3-4 weeks to save up the ISO to champ, so I want to be sure I make the best possible choice.

I champed Beast early and didn’t regret it, although he doesn’t get a whole lot of love on the forums. His blue power is fast and effective, his green is underrated, his yellow is meh.
I also think Squirrel Girl is fun to play, although she is specialized; very good against special tile layers, at best OK otherwise. And, her green makes me chuckle every time I use it. Her yellow is almost a liability, however.
If I were you, I’d probably hold onto the ISO and see what covers you get; you don’t need either of these as much as you need Thor, IM40, Witch, KK, Hood… If you find yourself with the ISO burning a hole in your pocket and you don’t have any of the top tier at 13 covers, then champ who you find fun to play. If your long term goal is to champ everybody, you can’t really go wrong at this point.

I do ultimately want to champ all the 3s, but I hadn’t really thought about saving up the ISO. My essential 3s are still pretty low - SWitch is sitting at 2/2/2, IF at 2/2/4, IM40 at 4/0/2 and I don’t have a Cage at all. I have a lot of CP saved up, though, and I don’t mind spending a few to buy the last cover for Thor if it came down to that.
Maybe you’re right. I should wait for whoever comes up next in the DDQ rotation, or see whose covers I get first.
