I’m going to keep saying this until something changes; There is no reason the Kamala Khan progression reward in Heroic Juggernaut can’t be a XFDP. It’s a model you have been using for ages with 3s. Win one in the last PvE, progression reward in the next PvE. Why not with 4s?
I get that they are (somewhat) harder to obtain but still, come on guys. They are not precious little snowflakes, or shiny roster badges, or pay gate characters, they are just heroes that we need on our roster. Added bonus, since a 4* reward has never been repeated in PvE you would only be giving out at most 1 cover for PvE progression per character at the moment, that doesn’t seem unreasonable.
Curious on how often you are going to keep saying this until something changes? I doubt you will get it. Are you going to bump this thread each time or create a new one? I suggest bumping this thread each time you want to keep saying this until something changes; that way we can easier see the frequency.
There’s a big difference though between a very hard to obtain end gauntlet prize and a regularly scheduled PVE end progression (even if it was a double the current max).
I absolutely agree.
I mean, the Deadpool PvE I had finished the progression by the time the first sub event had ended (48 hours out of 96).
I’d say obviously it can’t simply replace the 3* progression, it’s got to be a bit harder to obtain. Nothing saying we can’t still have the 3* progression, in this example, at 19,000 and then a 4* at 25000.
Hard work, but obtainable.
Hell, in my bracket for Deadpool the top scorer had about 65k in an event where the top progression was at 19,000.
Just start a new thread every few days but put the links to the prior threads in the new one. Let’s see how many threads of this will happen before they finally make a change.
PVE needs seasons like PVP, and then gate the 4 Stars behind season progression as end of season rewards, requiring multiple PVE event participation and progression met. A 4 star for each PVE would cause them to devalue quickly, unless the progression requirement was insane, like, double the current progression. And people would still grind it out.
Put them on a season timer so people are only getting them once a season, and it might shake out better.
That’s not what is being suggested though. The suggestion is a 4* for the PVE event immediately following a 4* release only. So for the current Juggs heroic there would be a Deadpool 4* for progression, but as the Juggs heroic is not a 4* release PvE event there would be no 4* for progression on the following PvE event.
the caveat, if it was a guaranteed NEW release in progression, then you have people screaming about roster slots, which is something that also needs to be addressed if we are going to have any sort of guaranteed 4*'s in everything.
Them being obtainable once every 3-7 days in ‘story’ mode as progression awards that lower end players would struggle with,
or
4 stars outnumbering 2 stars. and still having more incoming?
I’d rather people complaining about not having roster slots (Buy them with
, which seems like a decent end goal for the developers )
as opposed to covers.
In fact having more characters incentivizes spending on slots.
I state that a single 4* cover does absolutely nothing to help you in the short run unless both of the following conditions are met:
It is the 13th cover
It brings you to proper spec / build
With each new character release they should give out a cover to all players because again, one cover does nothing. Even 3 covers does little more as the loaner has 3 covers now.
It is amazingly easier to hit progression 2X and 3X in PVE events versus the PVP progressions, where you have people actively attacking your point total.
I personally would love to see it. I just don’t see it happening. The closest thing I could see is some form of PVE season where the 4 star is a PVE progression reward for participating over multiple events. They’re already stingy enough with 3 star covers, progression reward wise, on the PVE side, and that’s obviously because of how easy it is.
