4-star Cage black power glitch [Solved]

I’m playing Cage Match and facing off against a lot of Thanos teams. But when Thanos plays his purple and green countdown tiles, it is not triggering Luke Cage’s black. That drastically cuts down on the tiles available for his yellow. This seems to be an error, because against Maggia and other AI characters that lay down countdown tiles, his black is triggered when the countdown tiles are placed on the board.

When Thanos 5* activates purple no other character can change the tiles. As long as that purple cd tile is out, cage’s black is useless.
