5* Daredevil Hand-to-Hand not returning AP in wave node after last enemy of wave downed

I downed the last enemy in a wave with a match, which triggered a cascade that included the hand to hand countdown, but the 8 green did not get returned to the pool - I started the next wave with only 3 green.

An order of operations failure with wave nodes? Jeepers.

Or an OoO failure with a cascade. Either way… yeah.

I think it’s got nothing to do with waves.

I’ve had an instance where a cascade triggered the tile, and it acted as if the enemy matched it - it did damage.

I think this happened here, you just didn’t see the damage because the enemy was already downed.

Yep I just had that again.
Made a double match 3 on yellow and green, moved the yellow - green matched the tile and it did damage instead of returning AP.

I take it it didn’t create a new countdown?

Nope. Functioned just as if the enemy had matched it.

Except if the enemy match it, or its destroyed, it’s supposed to create another countdown if one doesn’t exist.
