They reported it that way in the release notes so I don’t think it’s a mistake. I’d like to think better of D3 and Oktagon and hope that this is actually a response to our pleas to make the new player experience more level – our alliance deals with a ton of new-to-game players who struggle to move ahead and stay competitive.
Being able to get a pack every day for 20 crystals is a HUGE advantage in Standard collection building and allows them to save more for PW and premium packs from other sets.
A delightful Frenchman encourages me to see things from the perspective of glass half full, so I am going to hold tight to this theory and celebrate successes with our new-to-game players in TP9 Discord and on these forums.
Somehow I don’t think they actually intended for people to finish progression solely on the inital charges on the first node alone and never ever need the fourth node at all though. Maybe only hand the ribbons out once per node instead of once per charge?
Getting the ribbons only once would mirror some of the other events, be easy to implement, make things more interesting, you could play one deck to get one ribbon then adjust your deck to get the other.
It’d be cool. And much fairer on beginners that cutting the number of nodes or stopping the recharges.
