I hope it’s a little better than last year.
Last year became good though a lot of hard work and arguing. It started off VERY poorly.
I hope the devs through any business sense and caution to the wind and just…like…SHOWER everyone in legendaries and stuff for a week or so and then let everyone deal with the hangover of “Oh crap, how am I going to level all of these 5* characters now!? @_@”
O god I remember that, it sucked so bad that my alliances commander stopped by their booth at NYCC for an hour to chew them out for how it was ridiculous it was and how could they possibly think scaling it so high was fun for the community.
It wasn’t the scaling per se. It was that the fact that galactus would win if you didn’t match away at least 2 or 3 randomly placed CD tiles in the first 3 turns of the match.
This is a game that heavily favors fast victory. And the devs decided to design a game mode that made winning or losing hinge entirely upon the random placement of a few CDs in just a few tuns, but still punished people heavily for losing. just crazy.
