I am fairly new to the game (started playing in November) and was wondering if MPQ has ever done anything special for April Fools Day.
I’m guessing that they don’t, but I was thinking of something like a special one-day PvE with Bag-Man, Devil Dino, and Howard the Duck as required characters (with one of each in progression rewards) with a plot that involves them playing MPQ. Of course, that’s two 4s and a 2, but there are no 3* joke characters. It would be even cooler if they added a 3* joke character and had a PvE with it, Bag-Man, and Howard or Devil Dino.
There are several candidates: Doop, Hellcow, Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham. Personally, I’d like to see Forbush Man, but that would probably be met with even more hostility than is normal on the boards.
That’s correct Howard was released April Fools day last year. You could argue that it was related to April Fools because it was related to the xth (don’t remember how many years) anniversary of the characters release in the comics, which I have to assume was intentionally April Fools Day.
I’m hoping for another Howard event since he’s a limited character. I wouldn’t expect very much though.

I found the original release annoucement: https://news.marvel.com/tv/25977/piecin … _the_duck/ I don’t see a mention of any anniversary (though I did look up that Howard the Duck #1 came out in January 1976 so 40 years plus a few months). They did say it was related to April Fool’s Day though “D3 Go! and Howard the Duck wish you a very merry “Marvel Puzzle Quest” April Fool’s Day!” “Overall this is a fun April Fools’ joke that really isn’t a joke at all.”
The only thing I remember was a contest last year to design a “joke” power to replace a legitimate game power with an amusing alternative. The Bob The’s amazing Old Man Viagra won the Interforumz on it.
