I suppose there are instances when one would choose to sell a cover rather than apply it to a championed character, but it would sure save some time if covers were automatically applied to championed characters, or that a button is added to the screen that allows a player to apply it immediately instead of going into the stash or the character.
Or, if someone wants to create a dupe for team ups..
there are a couple of characters I keep even with other characters for tanking purposes. i.e. I won’t take my cstorm higher than my ares - mainly for ddq. I don’t want her on green/yellow, so I leave those in queue until I get an ares and then apply them together (for some reason I’ve been flush with obw and cstorm and my ares/thor/mnmags are a little behind). I’m also holding back on some fist covers to keep a often used team correctly built. I don’t want anything happening automatically. please let me keep control of what I do with my stuff. thanks.
I see your point. In my case, I don’t fiddle with tanking/soft capping/etc. so it wouldn’t bother me. Perhaps they could implement my alternative suggestion, to add a button to the cover screen when you open the token or receive the reward.
If my next champion reward is a cover I’m not ready to use, I don’t want it dropped in my queue prematurely.
