Gah, having to shield hop for a green Wolvie cover because the boosted this week don’t scare anyone… although Vision makes taking out Jeanbuster easier.

Now I have a Venom, and tried the 1* jugs of webs team, and it’s quite good fun. I even managed to have Venom devour a Colossus, taking a few chances with saving up the AP until I could spam webs.

Now I have a mission; have Venom devour a 5*. I don’t think I’m a good enough player for that, but maybe our D3 brethren could put up a prize for the first player to succeed, with screen shots as proof. Time for a suggestion in the forum less travelled.

Now I’m starting to regret selling off my Original Gangster Spider-man… maybe I can build another before the event ends?
Of course, I’d have to pay 1000 HP for a slot for him, so it may not be worth it…

I might just level my Original Spidey for this. Jugs/Spidey/3* Cyclops seems a very scary trio

They work better underleveled as they heal quicker.. hence people having a bunch of lvl 1/15/40s

Obvious question: What is supposed to be the best team to play? I’m in my 2* - 3* transition so I don’t really know the high-end tactics. I see a lot of ppl talking about Jeanbusters, what would be the better 3rd character to go with them?

My point is, given a full roster of 3’s and 4’s, what would be the best team ?

Juggernaut, Juggernaut and Juggernaut. He’s crazy good in this format.

So far, for me, no team is unbeatable unless I start playing with less than full health or suffer from bad cascades. Some team might deter attacks than others, but as long as we’re worth some points someone will attack us.

Even a 2* team of Wolverine, Daken and Bullseye or OBW can beat 4* teams. Thor, Magneto and Storm can still beat anyone stun-able.

The most important is knowing when to shield and hop.

Also, since all characters start out fully leveled covers are incredibly important. Make sure to check your opponent’s roster to see how well covered the characters are…

It seems like for this event the best tactic is to actually use 1/2* characters anyway since their abilities often cost way less and they scale up much better than the tiers above.

OBW/Juggs/Ares will be my team I think… very annoying at lvl270

I’m going with OBW, Juggs, and Colossus as he should be able to keep the other two alive for longer theoretically.

Switch/AntMan/Psylocke is pretty fun, as is IF/Cage/3BE, and Kings.. looking for fun in BoP.. try out weird combos.. and not the same old crap.. get creative, i want to see some crazy stuff on defense!

Wolveroach is using Juggs, OBW, Cyclops, and overnight had 3 defensive wins, no losses.

Moon Roach is using the Jug of Webs ™, but lots of defensive losses. Who cares, this one should be fun.

Just faced a super annoying KK/OBW/Juggs team. 2 healers + headbutts of doom made it very frustrating.

I had quite a bit of fun messing about with a BP/LCap/LThor combo, it’s pretty slow but when it gets going its destructive.

EDIT: My team of LCap/Hulk/2*Daken has scored 5 defensive wins and no defeats so far!

I’m running a LThor/Daken/Jugs team.

Considered running Hulk in there instead and maybe Luke Cage, but the lack of tanking on purple and blue turned me off to the idea
