Shoot, that third power looks like it should be an anti-Gritty until the end of the paragraph… oh, wait. No. It’s definitely not. Creating special tiles at all just starts up Circuit Breaker, and then he makes enemy attack tiles if they don’t have enough, so going with BS Spidey loses effectiveness since you’ll take full damage from the boosted attacks. Partner this with Kitty though. That’ll be fun times.

Seems worse than rocket. The last thing we need from a new shiny 5 is to be a counter to a 4*/5* team but not be better than that team with kitty. Please buff pre-release.

Somehow I think he would smell terrible. I don’t think he’s very concerned about personal hygiene. Too busy looking for victims.

I wish. Powers don’t line up, and I think colors should be Yellow/Red/Black for O Red.

Actually looking at the kit, I hope it isn’t him, even though he is my top request (obviously)

trying to work out the damages for level 5 on the first power hurts my head

On the Passive, when the automatic match is made, we definitely gain AP here correct?

As an opposing thought to making an auto-move, I was pondering an idea (to combat Gritty) of ‘infecting’ the enemy by turning an adjacent tile to a strike tile the same color. This would have a chance to make a match available, but no guarantee.

But yeah this sounds dangerous. When Kitty & Grocket still have 3 strikes remaining, “Character” now gives small attack tiles to carry this buffed strike tile damage to your team…
For 1 turn, then there’s probably 4+ enemy specials on the board again, so he won’t give them more, yet.

Too bad the colors are the same as Hela and Ghost Rider. We certainly need a Blue-Purple active ability combo in the 5* tier (outside of Dr. Strange. Anyone forget he has a purple acitve?).

Looks like Carnage because of the colors, attack tile creation and red AOE. A couple cute additional wrinkles.

A purple? Is it the cape?
Cloak of Levitation (9 Purple). The Cloak of Levitation actively defends Dr. Strange from enemy attacks. If one doesn’t exist, create a 1-turn Levitation tile. While this tile is on the board, if Dr. Strange would take damage from a blue, purple or yellow match, he is sent Airborne until the beginning of your turn.
(Passive: Dr. Strange is immune to enemy effects that would send him Airborne.)
Rank 2: Also reacts to black matches.
Rank 3: Also reacts to red matches.
Rank 4: Reduces the effectiveness of the enemy match against Dr. Strange by one tile (dealing less damage, gaining one less AP, treating a match 4 as a match 3, and causing a match 5 to not create a critical tile).
Rank 5: Reacts to all enemy matches.

ugh, friendly fire team damage. i avoid using characters that do this like the plague.

This sounds like Morbius! It’s Halloween and he gets heals by draining the life of his allies. Strange for a 5 star but if it is I am excited.
