Current Latest 5* in tokens, and future 4* additions

Greetings fellow MPQers! This thread is for keeping the player community informed about three things:

  • The next 4* to be added into tokens that contain 4*;
  • The three 5* that are currently available in Latest Legendary tokens; and
  • The next 5* to be added/removed

Please keep in mind, this is not “official” information as we don’t have fixed dates about character removal/additions. Rather, the information provided is based off previous precedents and patterns and is subject to change. New 4* are usually added at the start of a new season, while 5* are added to the Latest tokens four weeks after they are introduced in-game.

All dates follow USA time (i.e. ranging from GMT-8 to GMT-5).

If anyone spots any mistakes, please feel free to chime in!

Will there be any announcement by the dev for the in and out of 5* in the latest legendaries?
Since 5* GR has been announced today, is he going to replace gambit in the latest right after the Galactus event or during the next season?
I’m hoarding for gambit and afraid that he will be out without me knowing.

GR will replace Gambit 2 weeks from Monday.

Are you sure that Sandy/Gamora are out tomorrow? I looked at the alias investigations token preview and it has them at 3x pull rate while Panther and Shuri aren’t in tokens.

  • Click on the Ultron Event “preview rewards”

  • Click on the final prize (1200000 points), which is an icon of the Alias Investigations token.

It probably refers to the general setup of the heroic/legendary tokens. They only need one change to change all tokens. It should be possible to get Sandman and Gamora at an increased draw rate from Alias tokens until the season shift happens. After the shift, you should be able to get P4nther and Shuri from Alias tokens too…

Check again now… The token contents updated in the data push, and now Panther and Shuri are in and Gamora and Sandman are out.

Is it possible to predict when Valkyrie will enter Latest tokens?

She’ll be added in the data push on Thursday, just before the next season starts, as always happens with 4*s.

Is there a record somewhere of when 5* & 4* became Latest and when they became Vintage?

They enter the day the next season starts.

This is an awesome resource that I use a lot. I have a few questions.

  1. How come you have all the strikethrough text and keep all the outdated data. If it’s for historical purposes you could always spoiler tag it just to clean it up so those just looking for when people are entering/exiting can find it easy.

  2. How come you don’t put when the new 4* are set to enter tokens? We all know it’s the start of the new season, but putting the dates in can be helpful because sometimes I wonder if there will be overlap between when certain 4s and 5s are in tokens simultaneously.

  3. Finally, and I know this is a lot, but what do you think about also tracking when 5* will be available via special stores?
