Hello all,

Many thanks to all of the people at this forum. I have been an active reader on this forum for a few months but did not decide to create an account until recently. Polarity’s guide has been incredibly helpful to getting me to where I am now. However, I was hoping to get some more directed advice from all of the knowledgeable players here.

Currently I have 380k iso, 7400HP, and 49 roster slots and am wondering if spending those resources will help me get to a new level or put me in scaling hell. I was thinking that maybe if I spent some HP to get Hulk to 5/2/5 and Patch to 5/2/5, I could start using the Hulk Bombing strategy to get more points in PVP. Or should I spend the HP to get my XForce to 5/5/0? Currently I have been getting between 300 - 500 depending on how early I start the PVP event and how desirable the rewards are. Will doing this put me in a poor situation given that the rest of my 3* roster is not really fully covered? Will this make my PVE life a lot more difficult. Also any advice on whether I should purchase any more roster slots vs ditching a few members of my roster would be helpful. Btw, I have 2 Ares because I was using him often and didnt always have health packs to heal and I built a second OBW just in case I thought she would be helpful.

Also, I have not attempted to join a top 100 PVP alliance. I wanted to make sure that I was capable of consistently scoring 500-600 points before trying to do this. Also, if it would be feasible to get 500 - 600 points, how hard do you think it would be to stay at those point levels with either the Hulk bombing team or an underleveled Xforce.

I’d say it’s definitely time to start working on your three-star roster, and too soon to work on your four-stars. Patch, Hulk and Hood are your most competitive characters, so work on them first. If you have to spend HP, only spend it on their best powers (Healing factor, Anger, Dormammu’s aid).
The current theory is that scaling is unaffected if you keep using two-stars in PvE. I can’t verify that myself, but try it.
A Hulkbomb team won’t get you to the top of the scoreboards on its own, but it will definitely do better than a two-star team.
