Not sure if this would be a bug or expected, but I have 6Cosmic Spider-Man as my fave 6 and when my alliance got some rewards for AvA, the 6 shards I got were Valkryie. All the other rarity level shards were my faves, but are the 6* shards random or should they be my fave on that too?
Anyone else seem to see this?
The 6* shards awarded for AvA are completely random, you can’t favourite anybody to ensure that is what you get.
Random shard rewards gonna be random.

Very lame! 6*s are the only one like this. Why?! They can absolutely be favorited just like the rest of the tiers. And it’s kind of a paltry amount anyway, at least the node rewards are if not the placement rewards.
To be fair, all of the 6 are limited like Devil Dino, Spider Ham, Taskmaster, and Howard, and you can’t favorite those either. They are being consistent.
Yes, but unlike the limiteds the 6*s do actually have a heart/favorite icon that can be selected, so not exactly consistent.
At least you got 6 star shards! Some of us spent the almost a week organising our team to do the best they possibly could, won the offensive, placed our alliance in the top 10 and walked away with… 0 (zero, nil, nada) 6 star shards, 30 5 star shards and 45 4 star shards? For effectively 5 days of giving up the small amount of free time I had that’s not already dominated by MPQ.
Those rewards are not even remotely comparable with engaging with regular PvE for about 3 minutes twice a week.
Blame BCS for that inconsistent behaviour. As the favorite was originally added there because WWE were told we would be able to earn Wildcard shards for 6s in PVE in the future. They quickly walked that back.
Technically I think they just abandoned the concept vs specifically saying there would never be wildcard shards ever.
However their approach has been, obviously, to put up tokens that let you pick the shards you want, so far.
As we never can pull 6s from any store that offers fave shards, it all hasn’t mattered before now as any sort of concern.
It’s not impossible that someday they would offer a way to get fave 6 shards from some store or something, but probably still years away.
This might be a good time to mention that the end of 6 week 6* shards are also random…or maybe not…
But at least they shouldn’t be able to go to already max covered 6s anymore like first beta run..
Yeah, my 500 to my max champed Mojo shards were very helpful, not.*
*And before anybody starts screaming, no we did not get this stuff for our actual real in game accounts, just our fake Beta ones.
At least I don’t have to worry about that for like 2 more years.

If you mean the random shards. They sure did go to a max 6 already.
