Ever win unexpectedly?

When the enemy levels get too high, i’ll send in the bottom end of my roster to lose. Usually, after 4 total party kills, the toughness will scale down a bit.

However, even with a substandard team, I always try to win.

In the simulator event, there was a 230 1* Iron Man with some goons that was pretty good at slaughtering my lesser teams.

Then I got to C Storm, MN Mags, and OBW. They took a lot of damage early on, but OBW managed to get in a few steals before she jumped in front of pistol, and managed to set up cStorm’s green. She stunned Iron Man, then Mags managed to get his Red off.

No amazing cascades on either side. Storm and Mags were nearly dead at the end, but they were victorious. I’ll have to remember to not use that team when I’m intending to lose.

That Iron Man fight was tough on me, too. They fed him yellow and he could virtually spam his Armored Assault and at that level his protect tiles stopped even most of the damage from powers. Now I know what team I should have been using!
