Fiery Intervention says it should destroy a support, or failing that damage a creature.
I’ve used this card in the A World Reborn event without issue, but in the Race to Orazca it will not cast from my hand. Even when the AI has a creature on the board. It was full of mana, and the card was enabled and not showing red (the “lack of targets” indicator).
I suspect the permanent supports are messing it up. The support or the creature counts as a target for the card to activate, but these supports are not supposed to be targetable, so the card isn’t casting. I did not see the AI cast another support, to know if Fiery Intervention would have cast in that case.
Yeah, same issue, lost a node because the spell had nowhere for it to target and wouldn’t eliminate creatures, just sat in my hand. Only supports on the board were the permanents.
