Game "check internet connection" even when Internet is on

This is kinda weird, as I played last night, the MPQ on my iPad air 2 worked perfectly.

However, since this morning, I kept on getting “check internet connection” message on the starting screen, and just can’t get into the game as usual.

The internet is working, and I restarted router, restarted my iPad, restarted the game, not working. I am wondering what’s going on here? Did anyone have the same issue before? It’s very frustrating as it has been 4 hours, if there is server glitch, it should have been fine now.

It could be a network problem somewhere between your provider and MPQ’s servers. Do you have the capability to switch to cellular or another wi-fi network behind a different carrier to see if that resolves it?
