6* announcement aside, the anniversary events have been know for their great vault and other purchase opportunity potentials. What is your thoughts about this one compared to the last several years?
It is very lackluster. Vaults that can’t be reset are the biggest fail.
They’re always like this (including the complaints that it’s the worst ever anniversary and last year’s was awesome).
This time next year, everybody will be saying that the 12th anniversary was awesome and the 13th is the worst ever.
The tower is pretty boring & too early to tell if Galactus will be any good.
Would have liked a fan favorite store of some sort instead of the same Family one we get every few months. The rest of the vaults are fine.
It’s pretty mid as far as anniversaries go, but not awful or anything.
I didn’t vote cause I’m in the middle lol, I’ve enjoyed bumping up Thanos SS HEvo and trading in the others for getting Onslaught to 550 then Zemo higher. But actually only getting Onslaught to 550 was super important for me, he was an old favorite of mine and is still good when boosted. Would’ve been way better though if there were more LL tokens in there though.
Not just the vaults. Where are the limited character PVPs?
The CP vaults have been ok, but then CP is the most valuable resource we currently have, so a CP vault better be damn good!

Did we all retroactively decide we loved Quandary? I remember that anniversary was also the worst ever.
Didn’t we get Quandary two years in a row? So we will have to have a face off between them.
There was also the anniversary where we got the “you’re supposed to lose” Galactus as the big celebration thing.
I’m telling you guys, the anniversary is never any good, and everyone just magically forgets every year.

Definitely not true. Have the latest anniversaries been not good? Yep. Have others been very good? Yep. 2017 and 2018 were fantastic. Tokens rained down like manna from heaven. They were very generous in rewards and it was super fun. Even 2021 was good when the vaults reset and if you had the HP, you could get many of the metas up to 550 if you wanted to do so.
Is this year bad? Absolutely. Last year? Yep. Year before? Sure was. You know what the constant was in each of those years? The new dev team.
I sarcastically voted that this years vaults were awesome, because they seemed exactly the same as all of the previous ones I can remember. HOWEVER, I see S0kun is reading this now, and I would like to change my vote.
Please make all future anniversary vaults as good as the Winter Wonderland vaults we keep confusing them with.

I’ll take your word for it! I don’t remember those specifically.
The only “good” anniversary I remember was the 4thor release, when they ran those crazy lightning rounds. I don’t remember thinking any of the others were great/went over well. (I did enjoy Galactus v1, Boss Rush v1, and Quandary, but those were not popular opinions).
This Anniversary doesn’t feel like a celebration.
there’s very little truly NEW, or unique. they released a NEW TIER of characters, and it was NO DIFFERENT to a standard character release. in fact, it was LESS engaging than a normal release. no Quests. no “Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D”. No “Introducing…” there was NOTHING to properly support Galactus.
there are minimal giveaways. no good purchases to be had. no Doop codes. Sure, double ISO, but… so? we got a new SCL10, but… to what? no breakdown of rewards, no details as to how much each level increased. no clarity on what happens after galactus isn’t in the rewards.
i can forgive the majority of this, but the biggest gripe is the sixstar release. i should have been exctited for unlocking Galactus. i hoped 1 cover would make him feel powerful, helpful in my team. I have to wait another 13 months before he’s usable? BAH. why bother chasing him?
I was really expecting a bunch of 6.5k HP vaults, even if just for some of the less appealing ascended characters/supports - quite disappointing to get none.
So glad I splurged to get White Tiger 2a4 twice before the anniversary, as hers turned out to be the only ascended vault!

They’ll never live up to the first Anniversary. They felt like a celebration! It helped me get to 3* land with all the raining tokens.
I think the 4th Anniversary was pretty good. We got X-Men v Apocalypse which was a pretty good event, we got Rogue, Gambit and Nightcrawler. The Anniversary vault was nowhere as good as this year though.
