I still haven’t converted my duplicates. But I’m starting to consider it.
What about you?
Also, what is the conversion rate, because I wasn’t able to find it.

Nope. 35 Hitchclaw Recluse, and counting.
Never converting. Collecting runes through normal gameplay has never been a problem. I just wish I could dismiss the “convert” message since it obscures the UI and is really annoying.
When feature was released I did it by “mistake”.
Not done since then.
Logic would tell that even if they change something about duplicate it should be still giving runes or else anyone that converted duplicates would feel(rightfully) robbed. Then Runes would be the currency spent to get the benefit from duplicates(packs, specific or random cards, whatever)
I am saving because… Well, better safe than sorry.
I’ve opted to convert them, mostly because I get tired of the convert duplicate buttons up at the top when I’m browsing my collection.
I’ve probably gotten close to 50-70k runes from it.
No, I would if there was something else to spend runes on. I’ve leveled the base 5 + Kiora and Koth to 60 and I still have 100,000 left.
For now it’s just amusing to see how many I have.
Is there a reason to collect duplicates?
Not at the moment or for the foreseeable future. Back when they released the convert duplicate to rune thing they said they might consider other options in the future but had no plans to.
I’ll never convert my duplicates because I feel they are worth more than the current conversion rate, and I’m hoping they decide to do something else.
I converted mine and I’ll be pissed if the exchange rate changes without due compensation. ![]()
I only play casually, but got loads of crystals from the events, so I bought several planeswalkers like Kiora, Koth and Ajani. So I did end up converting because I don’t get many runes because MTGPQ is only one of several games I play on my phone. (Principally because it requires constant internet access and many places I’m playing the wifi / 4G reception is too spotty. So I need another game to play at those times.)
The conversion rate is:
Big jump between uncommons and rares.
But not big enough for me.
