At the end of a match shouldn’t the players health be normal health plus healing health? At the moment when the match completes, healing health is completely removed so that your health goes back to the lowest point possible.
If the power says “burst of health”, it’s just temporary, also indicated by the bar being green instead of red. Only a few characters have “true” healing that will stick around after a match.
Yup! That’s absolutely correct. Characters like Wolverine or Daken all have true healing, which cause their heals to persist after the battle is over. Characters like Doctor Strange or Kamala Khan though only have burst healing, and last until the end of the battle.

As a general rule of thumb, characters that can also heal their allies only give temporary health, while most (not all) self-only healers have true healing.
