Some guys in my bracket have some fucking 5.5k points! Lol! WTF!!! WHY? Is this some kind of fucking joke? Is there any fucking way to separate these monsters from normal players? I mean let the rich kids without personal life play with each other, with their “fully maxed all heroes” roosters… This is a kind of strange for me… i just don’t get it. WHY?

Although top 5 will never be attainable without a maxed out 4 * roster, or piles of luck and effort with a maxed out feature charecter, and 2 really key maxed out 3 * it’s looking like it will be literally unatainable for 98% of the player base pretty soon.

I find it odd that we haven’t seen any of the top alliances try for 30,000+ over the course of a month in shield sim.

Why ppl are making such a fuss about us running up the score is beyond me.. In a private convo 6 of us decided to see how far we can go in a pvp.. No limit.. Just putting points on the board .. Nothing to prove..nothing to show off.. Just the will to play together and having fun.. Thats what we did.. Im aware this gm doesnt demand any particular skills nor suprem intellect.. But why should It be? In other life i was playing MADDEN like a madman addicted to the point where money games costed me way more than anything i spent in mpq and i dont even talk about the stress it generated.. You know what.. I never had that much fun these past two days than in all MADDEN gms i played.. Case in point.. Viral.. Sham.. Nesk.. Maestro.. Puerto.. Worldrunner.. Predetah.. Badger.. Had a blazing time joking around and making fuss 48 hrs non stop.. Thats all that ever matters.. And thats why we got on this journey.. Period.. Rest is just bla bla bla..
I think the PvP scoring is pretty broken but I don’t see why anyone should have problem with guys who want to put up crazy scores. It’s their choice. I don’t even see the guys putting up these scores saying how awesome they are (but it’d be fine even if they did). I thought about going for 400K in Enemy of the State just for fun before eventually wimping out and unlike PvP you can’t just throw more money to get 400K in PvE and it’d have been one crazy grind, which is why I didn’t go for it, but if I did, why do you care?
I disagree. I’m looking at my leaderboard (top 10 will be over 2k) and I’m thinking, great, I can get 50 point targets all day. And it’s not just the number of people with high scores, it’s the number of hops the top guys have to do. Do you realize how much time these guys have to spend unshielded? It’s not like I’m harboring any delusions of a top 5 finish, so if something is making it easier for me to score points, I’m glad, not demoralized.
Honestly, as long as those in the >2K range can still be targeted by those of us in the 1K range, there’s really no difference between 2K and 6K as far as I’m concerned. They spend $$ so others don’t have to and clearly have fun doing it. Good for them.
I want to see how many points someone that high can lose if they go unshielded for an hour.
Just to play Devil’s Advocate, the average player in the playerbase doesn’t know how all of that works, and probably would be demoralized by seeing somebody with nearly 5k points at the top of their bracket.
