Hood's Twin Pistols vs. Elektra's Shadow Step

I was playing the initial Simulator battle and Elektra was the only remaining opponent. She had laid down three trap tiles using Shadow Step, and two of them had gone off.

Knowing that there was only one left on the board, I used Twin Pistols to clear two blocks of tiles which combined included all remaining black tiles on the board. However, Elektra’s Shadow Step went off before the tiles were destroyed, but I still got a “trap disarmed” pop-up.

It appears as though the damage was applied before the tiles were destroyed. This seems to be a bug. Shouldn’t Twin Pistols destroy the tiles first, then apply damage, thereby rendering the Shadow Step tile ineffective?

Sent ticket. Per CS, this is a “known issue” that they are working on.

Dmg dealing=>Shadow step proc is first, even when matching away the proccing trap, which is always the first from top.

If that’s true, that neuters a great counter.
