Since the devs don’t want to acknowledge the cost of roster slots and the constant release of new characters, I figured I would share how many (unusable) characters I have with 3 covers or less and ask where everyone else stands.
I have 11 roster slots taken by characters with 3 covers or less. This represents approx. 4000-6000 hero points. Please note that I have 45 characters in total.
Gamora 1 cover
Colossus 2 cover
Blade 3 covers
Dr. Octopuss 1 cover
Deadpool 1 cover
Lazy Daken 1 cover
Rocket & Groot 2 covers
Nick Fury 1 cover
Devil Dinosaur 3 covers
Lady Thor 1 cover
Elektra with one purple cover. Blade is the next closest with 3 black but no other colors. Everyone else has at least one of every color except cMags. Missing his red, but I have 4 each of his other covers. I have 58 characters in my roster.
60 day player. 47 slots, 24 total 3 or 4 stars with 3 or less covers and no 3 star over 6 covers. ive seen 6 characters vaulted since i started playing and no clue how many new characters have come out. yippee.
I have 7 with 3 covers or fewer, but I also have a bunch with 4-6 covers, and they’re not all that useful either. For reference I’m on day 306 and am nearly done with the 2->3* transition, and I have every character except for 2.
4* Thor, Rocket & Groot, Sentry, and 3* Storm all have one cover, but Storm and Sentry I just picked up in the last few PvEs (like literally just got Storm today).
Psylocke and Falcon have three covers. The rest are all two covers. Additionally, I have She-Hulk, 3* Daken, 3* Captain America, and The Hulk all have four covers.
That being said, I have 7 completely maxed out and optimally covered 2s, two level 60-something 2s only missing one cover (but not optimally covered), a Hood with 9 covers, and an X-Force with 6 covers.
Day 220, only three:
Devil Dinosaur - 2
Nick Fury - 3
Invisible Woman - 3
Elektra has already managed 7 covers! Two were lucky drops.
A majority of my 3* are above 10, and about eight are fully covered optimally.
The days played makes a huge difference. The moment you can get, say, 600 points in PVP regularly, you will see covers and HP start flowing in. My Hulk was partially covered for three months or more, mocking me cruelly. I wanted a Hulk! Since I covered him in season 8, I have sold five covers of his. They will come, you just need patience, and to join an alliance that will give you good strategy advice (though the forum will do a lot of that too!).
